Epidemiology 

The epidemiology department at the Department of Health in Lafayette County investigates and monitors communicable diseases in the county. Our epidemiology nurse is trained to assess, evaluate and monitor communicable disease reports to help prevent epidemics.

Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD)

The Florida Department of Health in Lafayette County has trained nurses and doctors to examine, diagnose and treat men and women with STD infections. Early diagnosis and treatment is important and decreases the risk for complications.

Tuberculosis (TB)
